A Vietnamese restaurant design is inspired by Vietnam's 1950s, where the ambiance brings a cozy touch and ancient authenticity to the patrons. The fusion of raw materials like bamboo and fired bricks represent Vietnam, and the coastal-inspired-in colors like the sea- green and blue represent the SFO bay, giving a chance for the local people to experience the Vietnamese culture through the food as well the interior atmosphere. The circadian lighting strategy incorporates different types of light layering in various places giving the opportunity to set in the right ambiance and mood that evokes a warm, cozy, and relaxing environment for the guests. The goal of the design is to create a harmonious surrounding that provides ample access to daylight and the modulation of artificial lighting is in symbiosis with the natural lighting cycle. The overall design also boosts occupant comfort, by creating a positive atmosphere and experience.
